I’m from Kharkiv, Ukraine.

Where do you live in the UK?

I live in Thanet, Margate.

How long have you been in the UK?

I moved to the UK in April 2022.

What do you do for work?

I’m a content creator for CommunityAd’s social media.

Did you move to the UK with family or by yourself?

I came to the UK completely alone, without knowing any English and with no idea how things worked here. My parents stayed in Ukraine, but we don't communicate with them, we never had a close relationship. As a child, I experienced domestic violence.

What’s your favorite food in the UK?

Chestnut stuffing, Scotch eggs, Cauliflower cheese, and Pigs in blankets.

What’s your favorite Ukrainian food?

Borscht, Syrnyky, Holubtsi, and Chicken Kyiv.

Where do you want to travel in the UK?

I really want to visit Scotland.

What kind of music are you in to?

I listen to a variety of genres. Now I listen to both Ukrainian music and my favourite metalcore and post hardcore bands.
